Studio

Noir is one photographer. I take somewhere between twelve and fifteen weddings a year, which is as many as I can shoot without any of them becoming a routine, and portrait sessions in the months between.

How I work

I arrive early, stay late, and spend most of the day out of the way. There is no shot list. Family portraits happen because they matter to your parents, and they take twenty minutes, not two hours.

Around a third of every wedding is made on film and developed by a lab in Vilnius. Everything is photographed digitally alongside it.

What you receive

Between four and six hundred edited frames, delivered in ten weeks, in an online gallery that stays up for good. Print files are included and always will be.

Travel

I am based in Lisbon and work across Europe. Travel within the EU is included in every full-day commission.
